Ellis is not a fan of his carseat. And having a screaming baby in the backseat can get a bit stressful at times.
If he falls asleep in the car I avoid slowing the car down at all costs. I will go the longer way just to ensure all right turns:)
Last week we tried a swaddle wrap in his carseat, to keep him swaddled, which is how he prefers to sleep in his crib. And it is helping...A lot. It doesn't mean he is always happy in the carseat but it certainly does help him fall asleep and stay asleep when we are in the car.
So now I don't have to be quite so crazy with my rolling stops thru every intersection.
