Pat has his own mug with his name etched on it at our local Green Mill. He is part of the Mug Club.
Tonight we were enjoying dinner there with Mindy and Kaylee. The waitress asked Pat what his mug number was and he responded, "Whatever number you want it to be." I think he even caught himself a little off guard when he said it because we immediately all burst into laughter, including Taylor the waitress.
It's a good thing Taylor the waitress semi-knows us. It made the whole thing funny rather than really awkward for her.
PS: Taylor should expect this from Pat. Months ago, he tried to convince her that he was the nephew of the owner of the Green Mill...all because she was not going to let him use an expired coupon. I think she really gets a kick out of him:)
