Tatum is 4 months old and I can hardly believe it (I know same old same old)! She is weighing in at 12 lbs 8 oz and is a whopping 25 inches long putting her at the 75% for length while staying around the 16th % for weight. She has recently learned that she can roll over and once she figured it out, she flip flops all day long! Rolly poly. She is so aware of her surroundings and whines when we leave the room. She loves to be held and squaks when we put her down. She just wants to be able to see everything that is going on. She loves people. She adores her brother and watches his every move. She does not seem to mind if he bumps her. She is just happy he is incuding her in the action! Her pretty blue eyes are still shining and her dark hair has gotten a shade lighter. It is still dark brown but is not as black as it once was. She has a nice bald spot which is a hot commodity in this house because that means that she is a good sleeper. And that she is. She has slept through the night (7plus hours) ever since I went back to work right after Easter. She is a good eater too. She is up to about 6 ounces and still eats every three hours during her waking hours. She is such a happy baby and loves to flash her smile at anyone that will give her one back! We love to hear her baby babble and currently her favorite sound is the "gkgkkk" sound in the back of her throat as she seems to be sticking to that most of the time. Her fist is usually in her mouth and sometimes she even gags herself on it. She loves that fist. She is still spitting up a lot so we do our fair share of laundry around here but the Gentlease formula at least seems to keep her happy. We just love her so much and I think I underestimate her because she is my baby. I forget that she is getting older until she surprises me with a milestone and then I think wow she cannot be ready for that yet and sure enough she is. I am guessing that will be the case for a long long time. I just want to hang on tight to my baby girl. Somebody stop the clock!
We just could not love you any more if we tried! You have blessed our life in unimaginable ways little Miss! We love you Tatum Hope.
She is so precious and she is growing so fast. Her features change daily. So alert and rolling over... WOW. Ben might have to go to the big bed sooner than later at GG's if Tatum keeps surprising us with her new tricks.
