My Companion

Sometimes in everyday life, I forget how much Pat cracks me up....but on vacation....I am quickly reminded how funny he really is. I feel like I was laughing at him everywhere I went.

I have several favorite Pat stories from the trip, but here is a recap of my personal favorite.

We were at Epcot the day before the cruise and we had just finished eating dinner. The whole family was walking out of the Chinese restaurant where a large crowd was gathered around. Rita had just gotten on her scooter when all of a sudden Pat walks in front of Rita's scooter and screams out in pain, "OOOOHHHH my fooott! Dang it anyways...this lady ran over my foot." I immediately realize that he is trying to make a scene in front of the very large crowd that is gathered outside the restaurant to embarrass Rita and the rest of us so I scooted away and acted like I had never seen this man before in my life. But it was too late. The crowd stared in pure horror thinking that this poor little lady on her scooter had run over this poor man's foot. After getting over the embarrassment and pure horror of it all, I never laughed so hard in my life. He needs to brush up on the "Boy Who Cried Wolf".
