We Are Home

We got the Ok to leave Utah early Wednesday morning, so we were on the road by 9 am. 

We drove straight through with Pat and I taking turns driving and we were home around 6 am Thursday morning.  We had to make frequent stops to feed Ellis and readjust his position in the carseat to keep him comfortable but overall it was a very smooth trip.  We hit a patch of bad weather in Wyoming with blowing snow and 65 mile an hour winds.  We were thankkful when that passed as visibility was terrible!  And the only other patch of weather we hit was here in the Twin Cities as we were coming into town.  We hit the snowstorm and the early part of the terrible rush hour that the snow caused which added a little time to our drive. 

But we are happy to be home!  Benny and Tatum are so happy to have their new baby brother home and we are so thrilled to have our family of FIVE together!  Pictures of all the kids together will be coming.  That will require us to get them out of PJs and comb hair.....could take a couple weeks before we get there:)
