Bennett turns one month old on Monday and here are some recent photos of him. He went to his doctor appointment on Thursday and he weighed in at a whopping 6 lb 5 oz. That is almost two whole pounds above his birthweight. He has also grown 2 inches since he was born. Our little preemie is almost a full term newborn:) This week he would officially be 38 weeks along if he was still "on the inside". Hard to believe this little guy was not supposed to arrive for another two weeks! Crazy! As much as he squirms and wiggles I cannot imagine him still being inside a tummy. He is awake more and more each day and he is able to focus his eyes on us longer each day too. We see more and more curl in the hair around his face especially when he is warm. He hates when we move him while he is sleeping. He scrunches up his whole body including his face and we call it his grumpy old man face. He is eating about 3.5 oz every 3 to 4 hours and we cannot complain about that. Every once and a while he sleeps for a 5 hour stretch at night which is wonderful. He is a very good little sleeper! We love you Ben!
