Discharge Day

Today Ben was discharged from the hospital. And it just so happened that at the same time we were discharging, his little neighbor friend Nahla was getting discharged too. So we all said our goodbyes to the nurses and packed up our little man for the long drive to Dallas. It was so fun to have Ben outside the hospital walls.

All comfy, cozy in his car seat for the first time. He looks so little in his car seat. Now I know why they do the car seat challenge, without that I would have worried that he was too small to sit safely in that car seat.

Good-Bye Del Sol Medical Center. We will miss all of you nurses that took such good care of us!
