Changing Seasons

The seasons are changing and so are things changing around the Jordan house.

Small changes in the grand scheme of things, but some of them feel big to me.  So I want to make sure I document them and freeze time for just a moment so I can remember these days.

Starting with Ellis:
He is 9 Months
He now crawls up and down the stair between the kitchen and the living room
He said his first word last night.  It was BaBa (which is what we call his bottle)
He eats more "real food" at a sitting than Bennett and Tatum (in particular he loves Mexican food)
He leans in to nuzzle his head when you pick him up.  As if to give a hug.
He graduated from his infant carrier to a rear facing carseat yesterday.

Now onto Tatum:
Tatum moved into a big girl bed over the weekend
The best part was that she told us she needed to "decorate" her new bed which meant putting blankets and animals on it.  She spent a lot of time in her room decorating.
She also asked me to teach her how to make her new bed...which is incredible to me given I don't think I have made my bed once since she was born:)
Tatum also started potty training this weekend.  She is doing great with #1, hasn't ventured into #2 in the potty yet.  When I asked her when she would try #2, she said "Someday Mom".
Sometimes I feel like I am talking to a 20 year old.

As for Benny:
He can spell his name (he is still learning to write it, but he can spell it out loud)
He graduated from his carseat and now sits in a booster in the car.  He can buckle himself.
I am seeing the first glimpses of him wanting to fit in.  It was costume day today and he wanted to bring it in his backpack instead of wear it to school because he wasn't sure if his friends would wear a costume.  Yikes, this is new territory for Pat and I as parents.
