Pumpkin Noodle

Here are some photos of Tatum from her first thanksgiving when she was 10 months old.  It is hard to believe in 3 short days, our baby will be 11 months.  I wish I could rewind the year and replay certain parts over again to intentionally remember some of those months that flew by in a blur.  She is such a delight.  Even more beautiful by the day.

I find her occasionally standing on her own and the other day she took one step unassisted, but since her crawling skills are so fantastic I am not sure if she will decide to walk anytime soon.  She loves her brother to peices and crawls into his room each morning squealing with excitement as she sees him waking up!  He cannot say Tatum so when he says her name it sounds more like "dang".  Which we imitate on a daily basis because ...well..... because we are the parents and its fun.  As she gets older, Bennett has started to play with her more like a playmate instead of a baby.  If she crawls away while they are playing, he goes after her to talk her into playing some more.  If he ever wakes up and she is not there, he asks, "Wheres Dang?"  And if she has a toy he wants, well I am sure you can guess how that goes....

She picks up on new things all the time. She claps at everything...she is our little cheerleader.  I forgot how fascinating this age was with Bennett. They just learn so so much everyday and the littlest things that they learn make you smile.  Her favorite is "answering the phone"  and pulling all of the wipes out of the wipes container (it could keep her occuipied for hours).  And eating.  If she sees somebody else eating, she wants in on the action too!  She has special radar and can find the timest pieces of anything on the floor which is very iteresting given our toddler leaves a trail...

Her spitting up is really a thing of the past and I can tell that since she stopped, she has gained a lot of weight which has been fun to see.  She is still little, but is not such a string bean anymore. I am sad and proud that soon our baby won't be a baby anymore as she is growing into her own little person right before our eyes.

We cannot wait to celebrate our 1st Christmas as a family of four.  Thanking God for the extra blessing he added to our family this year!
